Anyone watched this series? I tried the first couple of episodes but couldn't get into it. Mate at work recons season 2 is cracking.

Season 1 was very good after a few episodes. Season 2 is plain boring

It is very good. I really enjoyed season one thought it was very funny. Season 2 was good I just thought they dragged it out a bit. Humperdoo was very funny though in season 2.

Give it a chance, season 2 is the nuts. if anything, skip season 1 as basically all it is, is he gets a being in him that can control people with souls. A couple of Angels tasked with getting it back fuck up and they leave a phone to heaven behind. Preacher uses it to call God to prove he exists to his congregation only for the God they call to be fake. On to season 2, Preacher and his crew going looking for the real God as it turns out he's missing.
